The Lazarus File
In Colombia, CIA agent Mark Daniel works under cover as a drug pilot to investigate a rumored anti-U.S. alliance of guerrillas, drug rings, and hostile foreign powers. (Part of his cover is being declared officially dead, thus his code name is Lazarus.) Sol Agueda de Roca, a Colombian woman of good family, meticulously ethical and a business genius, is suddenly pitted against industrial intrigue and a kidnapping plot. Unwillingly thrown together, Mark and Sol discover the plan for an international terrorist strike against both of their countries. This fatal knowledge lands them in captivity, marked for death, in a remote Andean valley. As time runs out, they must find a way to prevent the terrorist attack. With action ranging over much of the Caribbean and the United States, The Lazarus File is a fast-paced narrative featuring unexpected plot twists, thrilling flight sequences, and emotionally charged personal relationships.
